[Hunter opens his mouth, and then closes it, no noise coming out.

He is very unsure what to do with that. Give him a second.]

Maybe... come up with a way to trigger your memories in general first, then focus on your sigil.

[He considers this! Before nodding] Good thinking.

Anyway, you mentioned you use your teleportation in fights. [He'll hold out his hand and in a flash of light a massive sword appears. And by massive I mean it's easier a foot or two taller than either of them.

And he's holding it with one hand like it's absolutely no big deal. And continues talking like summoning a massive sword is perfectly normal.]

Can I see it?

[That - holy Titan, that's a big sword. And Jun is totally scrawny, how is he holding it with one hand?? He must have some kind of magic to assist with heavy objects, that's the most likely explanation.

Hunter takes a few moments to get over his surprise, before adjusting his grip on his staff and nodding.]

Sure, that's fine.

[And he immediately teleports behind Jun to whack him with the Flapjack end of the staff.]

[Jun notices the surprise, but he doesn't comment. If no questions are asked, then he'll answer none!!

Besides it's time to fight. Which the immediate teleport and attack from behind catches him off guard. Hunter manages to land a hit on him. The shroud thankfully absorbs most of the blow, so it just makes him flinch and make a sound.

But don't worry, he's not mad. This is what he asked for! So he'll respond by spinning around and swinging that sword as he does so- straight at Hunter.]

[Unfortunately for Jun, there's another flash of gold and then Hunter is gone, reappearing a few feet to the side.

Well within striking range of Jun's sword, for very good reason. If Jun can actually wield that massive thing then he needs to take the time and see how he uses it - how fast he can swing it, how he balances with it - in order to formulate a good offense and defense. A staff, after all, isn't going to stand up to a giant blade in a head-to-head fight, he's going to have to be smart about this.]

[Forget the staff, Hunter wouldn't stand up to this blade if it manages to land. Jun's sure his dad or August would be yelling their heads off if they knew he was sparring someone like this- but then it's a good thing they aren't here!

Jun's watching Hunter's teleporting closely, trying to pick up on how he does it. The timing and how far he jumps. Because of that and the kid's own reflexes, he'll find that Jun's reaction time is fast. No sooner than Hunter teleports is he turning the blade to swing towards him in his new direction - diverting it with the ease of a small blade rather than a massive claymore]

[Oh shit. Hunter was expecting that with a blade of that size Jun would have to be hefting it around at least a little bit, but it's like that thing is another limb to him. He's effortless in the way he's using that sword.

Hunter has to teleport again to avoid getting bisected, this time reappearing just out of range of Jun. Okay, well, he's got a much better idea of how the other boy is wielding that thing, so check that off the list. He disappears again, teleporting behind Jun, then again, appearing to his left, then again and above - basically a whole barrage of teleporting to try and discombobulate him.]

[It is pretty impressive, how Hunter is able to teleport in such quick succession. He'll have to try working on his own teleporting timing to do that. But for now he's staying on the ground. At first he turns to swing at his friend- but before the blade can get near, Hunter's teleporting all over the place to discombobulate him. It's a good tactic really!

Unfortunately, Jun finally decides rather than trying to chase him? He does a full quick spin with his blade, ribbons of light trailing after his blade as he swings. ]

[Well then. If any adults saw them they'd have a conniption, since this is the second time he's having to avoid getting sliced in half.

He teleports higher above Jun out of range, this time sitting on his staff as Flapjack beats his little wings to keep them aloft.]

You're really good with that.

[As Hunter does that, Jun will lower his sword and look up. He gives a small smile at the compliment]

Haha, your teleporting is impressive. I don't think I could pull off a chain like that.

[He says it lightly and casually, like it really hasn't sunk in that he nearly bisected his friend a couple times there. Hunter said he was part of an elite witch Coven, so it's fine! He can take it!!

He'll nod up to the staff]

Can he support extra weight?

[Jun doesn't weigh much, he's smaller than Hunter, but he doesn't want to hurt Flapjack. ]

[Hunter grins back at the compliment. He's trained incredibly hard to get to where he is, and he's very proud of that. He wouldn't have the position of Golden Guard if he couldn't keep up with opponents more powerful than himself.]

Yes. Palismen are strong in their staff forms.

[He lowers himself down to the ground, hovering just above, so that Jun can hop on.]

[Thoughtful! Jun will put away his sword, so it disappears in a flash of light, and hop onto the staff. He'll adjust his cape so he's not sitting on it and rather it drape down on the other side of the staff]

Haha, in the stories witches always have flying brooms, but this is much cooler.

[Once Jun is aboard Flapjack will rise up into the air above the tree line, so they can get a nice view of the city.]

Brooms? Really? Why in the name of Titan would anyone use a broom? That seems unsanitary.

[He gives a shrug of his shoulder, his legs kicking out in the air idly and looks out at the view. Oh this is nice. He loves heights]

No idea, that's just how the stories go. There's also a bunch of other stuff that's wrong too, but I'm sure it's because whoever wrote the stories hadn't seen a real witch before.

Most likely. While it's possible for objects to travel between the realms using leaks, it's rare for that to happen to actual people. And up until now I thought there had been only one door between them.

Leaks?

Wait, are you saying leaks between our realms is something that happened before all this?

Yes. Wild portals can be created in the demon realm when Titan's blood leaks into the water. [It doesn't seem too concerning to explain all of this.] It's possible to harness Titan's blood and manufacture a portal, but it isn't easy to accomplish.

[Jun listens, taking in this information]

Huh. So hypothetically...the reason all you isekais are here could be due to leaks between realms. Ones big enough to transport people.

It would explain all the random items that keep popping up too.

[Hunter nods.]

It's one possibility. Titan blood is rare, though. I'm not even sure there's any left aside from what's in a key back in the Boiling Isles.

[He considers for a moment]

What is titan blood, exactly? Is it blood from a real Titan, or is that just the name for it?

Yes, it is. The Boiling Isles are a series of islands made from the decaying remains of a Titan. Its body and blood were so powerful that it allowed life to evolve, and to wield magic. The blood is particularly potent, though there's next to none left as far as I know.

[Jun's quiet for a moment, thinking over what said. He's not really fazed by the description. Honestly, it sounds like some creation myths he's read]

I don't know how we'd go about getting it, but what if we tried the blood of a god?

[What.]

If the myths are to be believed, Earth once had Titans too. They were among some of the oldest gods before they were overthrown by their own children. And there's plenty of stories of gods using their body parts to create land and life. So wouldn't it make sense that the blood of other gods could carry similar properties?

[Nevermind the fact that going about OBTAINING that blood would be insanely dangerous if not impossible!!!]

[Hunter isn't sure how they'd acquire any, either. If it was almost impossible to get ahold of in the Boiling Isles, the chances of finding it here aren't good.

But hey, Jun is presenting a very good idea. Hunter looks thoughtful.]

It's possible. The reason why Titan blood is so effective is because of its high magical potency, if a substitute were to have a similar properties I don't see why it wouldn't work too.

[Jun nods]

Mm. They're always talking about the blood of Christ in church, so it must be powerful...

[Huh. Why is his seal mark sting all of the sudden? He frowns as his hand goes to rub it, stopping short as his hand hovers above it.

Oh. Right. He lowers his hand and clears his throat]

Not that it'd be possible to get His blood, specifically. But if we come across a lesser god in the Spirit Realm and somehow get some blood from them, surely that'll do the trick too.

[The stinging subsides. Thank God.]

[Hunter raises an eyebrow at all of that. He isn't just noticing Jun reaching for his seal mark - he has no clue who this Christ god is. He might have to do some more reading.]

Why wouldn't it be possible? Is He that powerful?

[But he hums thoughtfully.]

I'm not sure about a lesser god, but if we could get some we could test it. If it doesn't work we try again with a stronger god.
