[Hunter isn't sure how they'd acquire any, either. If it was almost impossible to get ahold of in the Boiling Isles, the chances of finding it here aren't good.

It's possible. The reason why Titan blood is so effective is because of its high magical potency, if a substitute were to have a similar properties I don't see why it wouldn't work too.

Mm. They're always talking about the blood of Christ in church, so it must be powerful...

[Huh. Why is his seal mark sting all of the sudden? He frowns as his hand goes to rub it, stopping short as his hand hovers above it.

Oh. Right. He lowers his hand and clears his throat]

Not that it'd be possible to get His blood, specifically. But if we come across a lesser god in the Spirit Realm and somehow get some blood from them, surely that'll do the trick too.

[The stinging subsides. Thank God.]

[Hunter raises an eyebrow at all of that. He isn't just noticing Jun reaching for his seal mark - he has no clue who this Christ god is. He might have to do some more reading.]

Why wouldn't it be possible? Is He that powerful?

[But he hums thoughtfully.]

I'm not sure about a lesser god, but if we could get some we could test it. If it doesn't work we try again with a stronger god.

[Hunter doesn't seem to notice his gesture. Good. And it's easy enough to give a truthful answer without talking about himself.]

Mm. He's easily the strongest of the gods. And impossible to find unless He chooses to show Himself. It'd be pointless to even try with Him.

[Because of course people have tried to locate the Garden of Eden and Him in the Spirit Realm throughout the years. None of them successful.]

...Alright, if that what it takes. [Was this a crazy plan? Yes. But he did promise to help get his friend home.] It truly won't be easy though. I'm not even sure how we'd go about surviving even a lesser god, honestly.

[But if that's what it takes, they'll just have to think of something]

Hmmm. That's a lofty description.

[He's going to be skeptical, but regardless, starting with a lesser god makes more sense. It's less dangerous (for Flapjack).]

I'm sure we can manage. We start by appealing to their respect for authority - I'm sure when I explain who I am and how important this is they'll give us some.

Yeah, well then we'll be the first to see that it does.

Fine. But we should be prepared to fight them, just in case that doesn't work.

Alright. [Hunter nods at that.] We have a back-up plan, in case our first one doesn't work.

Mm. [He nods, holding his fist out for a fist bump] Whatever it takes, we'll get what you need.

[Oh, hey, he knows what to do here! He makes a fist and awkwardly bumps it against Jun's.]

[Heck yeah fistbump! He'll bump fists with Hunter before lowering his arm.

And ah. A thank you. he's never been good at these. For a moment, he looks a little sheepish]

D...Don't mention it.

[Ever. Again. Anyway time for a distraction--]

Hey, keep the staff positioned here, ok?

[And that's the only warning Jun will give before he immediately jumps off it]

[Thank the Titan Hunter knows Jun can teleport. Still, he moves to grab the other boy as soon as he jumps off the staff, but freezes when his brain catches up to him.

Okay, okay Jun just did that. Hunter keeps the staff floating in midair, thoroughly confused.]

[Look this is just how he does things! He'll let himself free fall until he's about halfway down, and then there's a flash of blue light as he teleports-

- And immediately reappears next to the staff, where he grabs on with one arm before he falls out of range again.]

Ha- did it!

[There it is! The staff wobbles when Jun reappears and grabs onto it, and Hunter grins.]

Not bad. A bit more practice and you'll be teleporting around in a fight in no time.

[He's grinning too as he pulls himself up]

Thanks to your demonstration. [Modest as always, but he's also proud of himself] I think the key is not thinking too much on it. Concerns about being precise were slowing me down.

[Hunter is just happy to hear someone is taking him seriously. That doesn't happen very often.]

Precision will come with practice. If you think about it like another appendage like a finger, there's a lot of fine dexterity that you have to develop over time. But once you do you stop overthinking it, because you've trained your brain and your muscles to coordinate together.

Mm...that's good advice. I think how I was trained to use my telekinesis. [Which is why despite him not being able to lift large stuff with it, his movements are very precise] It would benefit to do the same with my new powers.

At least teleportation will be easy enough to practice. Finding targets for the sword work may be harder.

[Because...yeah can't see many people volunteering to spar against something that deadly]

[He nods at that, and the mention of that sword has Hunter curious.]

Is that how you can lift that weapon so easily? You're using telekinesis in conjunction with your physical strength?

Not quite, my telekinesis couldn't lift a sword that large. Until pretty recently, I used to have a normal level of strength for my size. [IE: tiny af. ] But one day, I was suddenly much stronger.

...It's been an adjustment. I've broken some dishes and door handles.

[Well, that's unusual.

(Hunter is also a little envious. He's never suddenly woken up with magical powers and he's a witch, but he tries to ignore that feeling.)]

Do you know what caused the change?

[Look if it makes you feel better Hunter, his powers come with the price of 95% traumatic memories for his regains. Also no cute bird friends]

[He says it deadpan, but really he's joking]

No, I don't. If I had to guess, it has something to do with the seal mark on my arm.

Interesting. Usually in the Boiling Isles the sigil marks do the opposite. [They restrict magic, not enable it.] We should run some more tests.

The opposite? [oh yeah, Hunter mentioned that before] Oh right, the Coven system. So the sigils are how it's managed.

[Which again, feels a little weird to him, but he's not about to pass judgement on another person's culture]

If it helps me learn more about the mark, I'd be for doing more tests. [He always prefer gathering clear evidence and information, when possible.]

[Hunter nods.] It's how the TItan wants us to use magic, it's always protected people.

[So for the opposite to be happening with Jun is... unnerving, but Hunter isn't going to just abandon his friend over this.]
