[Well, Hunter isn't familiar with video games, but if he was he'd be considering this a boss fight. He teleports away again, this time midair to avoid the falling debris.
It's still a problem, though. That's criminal mischief, vandalism - property damage, even!]
Hey! You're in violation of the city's criminal law! That's malicious destruction of property!
[The mech will respond to Hunter citing crimes by very maturely by grabbing a slab of stone from the debris, turning, and chucking it directly at Hunter.
Jun meanwhile will trust Hunter to know how to dodge, and take a moment to try to get a sense of the situation]
I think the three I sensed are inside the machine! So we just need to disable it.
[Wow, rude!! Hunter doesn't respond, he's too busy teleporting out of the way of that debris, then swinging his stuff and grabbing hold of it with telekinesis to prevent it from doing more damage to their surroundings.]
Disable it? Alright, that should be possible!
[Actually - still using telekinesis, he swings the debris right back at the mech.]
[Jun watches, surprised when he sees Hunter using telekinesis. Because hey- same power!]
I didn't know you could do telekinesis!
[BRO. He sounds impressed. Hunter seems even stronger than his in terms of weight.
The debris is a direct hit to the mech, the force of it making it stumble. Jun will take advantage of that, teleporting in to deliver a hard strike of his blade to one of the mech's legs]
[Aw, Hunter would be puffing out his chest at his friend being impressed. Unfortunately, they're in the middle of the fight, so that'll have to wait until afterwards.]
It's a good form of magic in handling criminals!
[Their combined attack sends the mech stumbling and hitting the ground hard. Hunter will take this as an opportunity and use his telekinesis again to keep it pinned down.]
[As the mech falls on the ground and Hunter pins it down with telekinesis, Jun will give him a nod as he jumps up onto the mech.]
Time to see our foe.
[Reaching down and grabbing hold of what's likely a door handle, Jun will use his inhuman strength to pull it open.
Inside...are three gnomes, still buckled into their small pilot chairs, and are looking rather disoriented by the blows given to them. They look like they could've been part of someone's lawn ornaments. ]
[Hunter will follow Jun, keeping the magic pinning the mech up as he approaches. He leans over, watching his friend open it up -
And well. Gnomes. Gnomes. He raises an eyebrow behind his mask, then decides to roll with it and point his staff at them confidently.]
Well, criminals, you're under arrest for property damage, vandalism, impersonating an ogre - [He pauses, then shrugs.] - aaand breaking a few other laws that aren't coming to mind right now.
[The gnomes are disoriented, but they look up in confusion at Hunter. There are muttering of "are these really cops?" "what's he taking about?" and other less nice remarks of disbelief.
Per their agreement, Jun will keep letting Hunter do the talking. He...has no idea if they have the authority to arrest these guys and how you'd even arrest gnomes, but he'll give a small thumbs up to Hunter. You got this bro!! ]
[There are grumblings of protest from the disoriented gnomes, but slowly they start moving to undo their seatbelts and make attempts to climb out.
As one is dizzy enough to struggle climbing out, Jun will reach down and pull the little guy by his shirt and set him down on top of the broken golem, causing another round of protest from the gnome.]
[Hunter steps back from the mech, waiting for the gnomes to clamber out of the mech and onto the ground. For emphasis he folds his arms impatiently, tapping his foot, like they aren't moving fast enough for his liking.
Once they're all finished, he rests his staff on the ground.]
Alright, whichever one of you is the ringleader is going to explain why you're terrorizing the city and its law-abiding citizens.
[By the time they've all clambered out of the mech, the "ringleader" has managed to shake off his own dizziness. He scoffs at the accusation.
"Terrorizing? We're not out to do that! We're just trying to test the suit's capabilities! Sure didn't expect it to get taken out so quickly though...."
The other gnomes seem to murmur in agreements. They swear they thought they calibrated the thing to be tougher than that.]
[Testing? Hunter raises an eyebrow, and glances over at Jun. So these guys weren't attacking anyone?]
So you were irresponsibly running illegal tests of mechanical equipment in a public area? [He scoffs.] Give us one reason why we shouldn't turn you into the proper authorities.
[The gnomes look between each other, before shrugging at one another like they expected this guy to know the obvious answer: "'cause the human cops don't think gnomes exist?".
There's a distorted sound from Jun's modulator, likely him clearing his throat awkwardly]
...They have a point. Gnomes are considered fictional by most humans.
[Well...that idea made Hunter happy at least. The gnomes are just mostly confused and whispering to each other, wondering what this dude's deal is.]
Alright, I'll contact them.
[Jun will pull out a phone and spend a few moments sending text messages back and forth to Zodiac...and also trying to get through their automated service. It's a thing]
...They said they'll send someone.
[Probably whatever poor intern got the short straw lets be real here]
[Hunter ignores the whispering. It's really easy to do that, when things going mostly smoothly and they're coming across 9in his mind) as authoritative.]
Excellent! [He spins his staff confidently, then points at the gnomes.]
We'll supervise you lot until they arrive, then hand you off to the proper authorities!
[This is so great, it reminds him of a successful mission back home!!]
[Jun meanwhile sees no issue with any of this. They were given a mission, and they were now well on their way to completing said mission. So this is a win in his book and he has no reason to protest against Hunter's direction.]
Understood.
[He'll take a couple steps back but continues to stand, keeping an eye on the Gnomes as he does so. The gnomes meanwhile know better than try to get away on foot with their tiny legs, so they just keep giving incredulous and muttering to each other as this is going on.
Eventually that poor Zodiac intern will come, with a car with some child seats. They look less like authority and more...completely bewildered at this scene (three gnomes? two guys in white hoods? a giant mech??>

That - that doesn't matter! We'll find authorities that do think you exist.

Zodiac?

This poor intern was prepared for none of this. ]
