I'm doing what I can to keep busy. I've already finished the extra credit homework I asked for, and I've taken additional assignments from Zodiac that should help them. Whoever decided students need this much time off must think we're either soft or lazy.
[He can't wrap his head around it. This is way, way, waaaaay too much free time for his liking.]
It did? I'm surprised you were able to make something with how limited potion ingredients here are.
[Assignments from Zodiac...oh that's not foreboding or worrying at all. ]
Less soft and lazy and more recognizing students have lives outside of school. Besides, after spring break is over you guys will be starting your end of the year projects and exams. Not to mention the spring concert! Take this chance to rest while you can.
[Because Elliot sure will be turning on the heat for you all. God help your souls]
Yep! It took some trial and error, but I managed to figure something out with using wolfsbane and some other more normal ingredients.
Haha, alright. Well in that case, I have one more assignment. I'd like you to listen to a song, any song of your choosing as long as it's a song that I can get ahold of a recording of, and write a page paper about how it makes you feel.
[Because oh yes kiddo, he's picked up on your lack of emotional connection in the music]
As long as you leave them alone they are! Bee stings still hurt though, and some people are allergic to them.
[He has no idea what he's doing but failure is not an option.]
It can't be that different from fire bee honey. I can probably eat it.
[He should at least try.... Titan knows it'd be nice having a nicer variety of food to be able to eat, instead of relying so heavily on what he can get from Undertown.]

I don't need to rest.
[Anyone who does is lazy, in his mind.]
At least this gives me more time to practice for the concert. I'll be ready for it. Moreso than some of the other students.
What else? I'm sure your definition of normal and my definition of normal are different.
no subject
Very well. Give me a bit and I can send you more stuff to practice with your violin.
Oh, right. Pumpkin seeds, chamomile, orange, and some honey for flavor.
no subject
[He's always unironically excited to get more homework!]
That does all sound very benign. Unless the honey comes from fire bees?
no subject
[That's a big part of learning music!! Always challenging oneself to improve]
Just normal honey bees, I think. Are fire bees like killer bees?
no subject
Possibly? They're bees that are on fire, and they're very defensive of their hives. It's easy to aggravate them.
no subject
[He'll send an attachment of a level 2 lesson book for violin. As as well as music reading and theory assignments and reading]
Bees that are on fire... yeah, I don't think I've heard of those before. How do they not set their own hives on fire?
no subject
[He is very very VERY serious about that.]
Oh, they don't have to worry about that. Their hives are also on fire, so it isn't an issue.
no subject
[Please rest child. Please]
Ah, of course it is. What a silly question.
[The frick frack is wrong with that world.]
no subject
[He will. He absolutely will.]
I suppose it isn't surprising that those kinds of bees aren't here. The ones here sound a lot more peaceful?
no subject
[Because oh yes kiddo, he's picked up on your lack of emotional connection in the music]
As long as you leave them alone they are! Bee stings still hurt though, and some people are allergic to them.

He very nearly almost asks that, but Elliot is the teacher and he can't exactly question him here, so....]
Okay. I can do that.
[He has no idea where to start, but he'll figure this out.]
I see. They don't sound so bad.
no subject
[It's for your own emotional development Hunter. Not that he'll say that outloud.]
Haha, they're really not. And the honey's always tasty.
no subject
[He has no idea what he's doing but failure is not an option.]

[Fake it till you make it]
Would you like to bring you a bottle? I usually have some extra around.
[Is this his discrete way to check on this kid's living situation? It sure as heck is]
no subject
Alright, fine. If you've got extra.
no subject
[This a half truth. He does have some, but he's definitely buying a new bottle for the kid. But shh he doesn't need to know that]
If the address on your student records are correct, I should be in your neck of the woods tomorrow. I can swing it by then.
no subject
[He isn't going to think anything of it.]
It should be. It's the Zodiac apartments.
no subject
Oh right, they're housing all you guys in the same place. Are they nice apartments?
[He's sure it's hard to do worse than his crappy studio apartment but man you never know]
no subject
[In fact, he's really only familiar with his room at the castle, and that was a damn castle.]
no subject
[There's a pause before he sends a photo]
That's a photo of my place. This is the bar for "livable".
[The bar is in hell, apparently]
no subject
I'm living somewhere better than that.
[It's a very basic studio, but at least the bed isn't in the kitchen.]
no subject
[Zodiac isn't screwing the isekais over completely!! That's good!!]
