The Coven System is the magic system implemented by the Emperor, according to the will of the Titan. There are nine main covens that each specialize in a certain kind of magic. Witches follow one of their tracks while they attend school, and upon graduation they join a coven. They're branded with that coven's sigil, which seals off their magic excluding the magic of their coven.

Yes. As the Golden Guard I'm his right hand, I take all my assignments directly from him, unlike other scouts. I'm also the Head of the Emperor's Coven, which is the most prestigious coven in the Boiling Isles.
