Wolf Pen Report Summary

WOLF PEN RECONNAISSANCE REPORT SUMMARY
ADI-HR-TUSOAWVWP-S001
WOLF PEN, WEST VIRGINIA, THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, EARTH, THE HUMAN REALM
JUNE 05 2022

Compiled from Reports ADI-HR-TUSOAWVWP-A001, ADI-HR-TUSOAWVWP-A002, ADI-HR-TUSOAWVWP-B001, ADI-HR-TUSOAWVWP-B002, ADI-HR-TUSOAWVWP-B003, ADI-HR-TUSOAWVWP-C001, and ADI-HR-TUSOAWVWP-C002.

Forests Surrounding Howling Moon Inn

See Reports ADI-HR-TUSOAWVWP-A001, ADI-HR-TUSOAWVWP-A002.

Local stories of "White Things" have some basis in truth. White-furred creatures are roaming the forests at night and are aggressive towards other presences and will attack on sight. Their injuries are a form of illusionary magic: they are able to inflict the feeling of physical pain, but physical damage is nonexistent. Medical attention was not necessary for injuries, and the pain faded with time.

Visual observation has confirmed these are not slitherbeasts native to the Boiling Isles. No evidence of wild portals created by Titan's blood could be found in the area. It's unlikely there is any connection to the demon realm.

Ferguson's Dump

See Reports ADI-HR-TUSOAWVWP-B001, ADI-HR-TUSOAWVWP-B002, ADI-HR-TUSOAWVWP-B003.

An unknown creature (or creatures) are luring individuals onto the grounds through illusionary magic. It utilizes human trash with a rough likeness to objects familiar or owned by the individual, then has the trash mimic that object in shape, texture and weight. When the individual's attention is on the objects the creature strikes from below, aiming for the ankles or legs.

Its method of attack is reminiscent of Plant Coven Head Terra Snapdragon's preferred form of underground travel, by displacing the earth to pull individuals under the ground. However, no plant life was involved in the attack, which was clearly meant to suffocate and not for travel purposes.

Bluestone Mine and Bluestone Mine Gift Shop

See Reports ADI-HR-TUSOAWVWP-C001, ADI-HR-TUSOAWVWP-C002.

Interrogation of the merchant, Audrey (surname unknown), did not yield any useful information. She was oddly skeptical of the Mine's proprietor following standard safety and workplace procedures in reporting accidents to the proper authorities. This stands in contrast to her opinion of the train operator, Todd (surname unknown), who she states "reports everything" [paraphrased].

Afterwards, the mine was investigated. Though Audrey warned there was the possible danger of carbon monoxide pockets, Flapjack did not suffer any ill effects at any point.

Found in one of the tunnels closed to tourists are a number of crates containing equipment, possibly for the upcoming concert. Reaching that section of the tunnel took time and at one point narrowed to the point where an adult (human or witch) would have difficulty making it through.

Overheard was a conversation between an individual with a young masculine voice and a person referred to as 'dad' (presumably their father). This individual may be a tour operator, they stated a child in their group saw a monster and they may have seen someone going into a northern tunnel. The conversation also entailed working on something referred to as the Cathedral. They questioned working on it while people are here and thinks the ADI is here.
